(Huntington Beach, CA, July 16, 2024) California Faucets has once again been recognized by the NY Product Design Awards. And this year, it’s twice as nice. Fourteen jurors from eleven countries commended not one, but two of the company’s products in the 2024 awards program. WaterSconce, the showerhead inspired by the bright lights of Hollywood, and San Elijo™, the company’s first bath faucet series to incorporate teak wood, were both chosen from a pool of over 1,000 submissions for their contributions to the design world.

Created to honor and elevate product designers whose innovations enhance our world; the NY Product Design Awards embody a commitment to recognizing excellence. “Award recipients exemplify the pinnacle of design innovation, harnessing creativity and forward-thinking strategies to redefine industry standards,” says Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of the International Awards Association (IAA), the organization which oversees the NY Product Design Awards.

WaterSconce is California Faucets’ newest multi-function showerhead. Designed to resemble a spotlight, the solid brass showerhead lets users choose between air, rain, and massage shower settings for a spa-like shower experience. The San Elijo™ Series is a new bath faucet that blends modern design with the natural warmth of teak wood. With a softened contemporary look, San Elijo features a gently rounded spout and optional teak wood lever or cross handles. Even the wooden handles are slightly rounded for an overall more graceful look and feel. Recognized for its durability and resistance to moisture, teak wood features an exquisite grain pattern which infuses texture and a touch of organic beauty into the bath.
