(Huntington Beach, CA, June 14, 2016) California Faucets was among the elite selection of products chosen for the 2016 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts. A 50-year tradition and one of the most successful house and garden tours in the country, the home features the industry’s most innovative design concepts, products, and technologies appointed by leading ASID-affiliated designers.

Designer Elizabeth Crisfield specified California Faucets’ Topanga faucet for the home’s Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Because the bath would be used by young adults, rather than children, Crisfield elevated the space to be more stylish and relaxed, with clean lines and a modern feel. Topanga helped achieve this look with its Art Deco-inspired design as well as its unique finish: The faucet combines a nickel finish with black handles, which Crisfield further chose to enhance with a third finish of brass for the accents. “We wanted to do something unique and showcase how the product is customizable,” said Crisfield, project manager for Culver City, California-based L2 Interiors.

Along with the tri-color faucet, the bathroom also features California Faucets’ matching tub filler (see it in action here) and the StyleTherm shower system with deluxe showerhead and handshower. StyleTherm’s advanced thermostatic technology, previously restricted to the luxury market, replaces old pressure-balance systems while maintaining the same price point. The accessories were artisan-finished and customized to match at the company’s local Huntington Beach, California headquarters.

The California Faucets products used in the show house were sourced through George’s Pipe & Plumbing Supply Company of Pasadena.

Tours of the home were held April 17 through May 15. Proceeds help fund three annual music programs for youth, teens, and young adults, and fund gifts and grants for music therapy, music education, scholarships, and concert underwriting.
